She & Him offers the best of both worlds Pop: alternative and pop of the sixties. For the latter, the singer Zooey Deschanel's voice is reminiscent of the best memories vintage bubbly: Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, Leslie Gore and seems effortless, like piano and guitar chords still contagious evoked serenade the audience in a way Bouncey. Consistency is one of the most commonDenominator of this collection, although "Do not Look Back," "Gonna Get Along Without You Now" and "Over It Over Again" are stand out. But the rural songs as "still feel" and "I'm Gonna Make It Better" keep everything fresh and fun.
In summary "volume two" a "Back to the Future" is listening experience: pleasant enough hooks in us, but innovative enough to give us back for more.
